The craze that has taken Australia by storm, the piadina.
Not quite a flat bread, not at all naan and definitely not pita bread. Unique in it’s own right, the piadina is one to watch when new menu’s hit the restaurant scene for 2013.

Casina del Bosco; Rimini, Italy
After travelling around Europe and Italy being our main travel destination we stumbled across a piadineria in Rimini, Italy. Something which I never thought would make its way to our shores has and in my suburb in Brisbane.

Espressivo; Kenmore, Brisbane
One cafe that I have frequented recently was Espressivo in Wongabel Street, Kenmore. This is as close as I am going to get to a piadina in Brisbane, let alone a stones throw away from where I live.
Sporting a bit of Italy with the ingredients – ham, fior di latte cheese and tomato jus. Yum.

One which I am yet to try is La Piadina in Bondi Sydney. Looks almost exactly like the piadina we had in Rimini.

oh my gosh, that looks absolutely amazing. i think i just drooled all over my keyboard.
i will definately need to be checking out the melbourne one, for sure.
ps. oh you lucky duck! the marant ones are amaze. i went for the siren ones just to give them a whirl, but i don’t think they suit me 100% so i’m hoping to sell them. they are super comfy though. and so spot on. haha if only you were two sizes smaller! x.
Looks pretty deelish huh!? I literally die and go to heaven when I see these on menu’s now, takes me back to my time when I was in Italy. And never in my life would I have thought that I would be seeing them here in Oz, so good! But yeah you should try the Melbourne one if you are there, your in Melbourne right? Let me know what you think ; )
Oh and about those Isabel Marant sneakers, I think I will be broke for quite sometime after this purchase ha but oh so worth it. I don’t think I have tried on a shoe that is more comfortable. Now I know what all the hype is about : ) and yes pity your sneakers are not my size. If you haven’t sold them let me know and I can always announce anywhere that I can that you are selling them! x
